At Lieber, we had about 65-75 men attending weekly worship services. We started with prayer, singing and bible study. After services, we used the remaining time to have personal conversations with the men, prayer, and the heart’s sharing. This personal contact let the men know we wanted to be there to share Christ’s love, beginning of the Freedom Through Christ church. Very organized with people providing a full worship service with people teaching the Sabbath lesson. Half of the men from this ministry transferred to other prisons where they were able to share this message.
We were unable to visit the prison for the last few months due to the COVID lockdown. Many new men have entered the facility that we regularly visited. The men that we’ve shared and have gotten to know have witness the love of Christ without us being there. God has raised many leaders that have not been leaders.
